Gary Clark (ex Illawarra) joins B Corsairs

Yokohama B-Corsairs (B1 League) have agreed terms with 29-year-old USA small forward Gary Clark (198cm-104kg-1994, college: Cincinnati) for the new 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with Estonian Maik-Kalev Kotsar having signed earlier. Clark was the top scorer at Illawarra in the Australian NBL league last season, with impressive stats: 17.0ppg, 7.8rpg (#2 in the league), and 2.3apg. He helped them reach the semifinals and was voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Forward of the Year, named to the All-Imports Team, and named to the Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL First Team. He was a member of the USA Senior National Team two years ago.
Clark is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Mexico, NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (RGV Vipers, Birmingham Squadron, and Capitanes de Ciudad de Mexico), and NBA Summer League (Houston Rockets).
In addition to winning the NBA Atlantic Division championship title in 2021, he was also selected as the All-AAC Player of the Year in 2018.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 and it'll be his 7th season as a pro player.
