Lakestars made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian forward Brock Motum (208-1990, college: WSU, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 7 assists. American-German power forward Ryan Kriener (208-1998, college: Iowa, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Four Lakestars players scored in double figures. American forward Justin Harper (208-1989, college: Richmond) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) added 25 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Alphas. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Chiba outrebounded Wyverns 47-27 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Chiba looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Brandon Ashley (206-1994, college: Arizona) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Kei Sugimoto (184-1992) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Michael Finke (208-1996, college: GCU, agency: Players Group) produced 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import James Bell (196-1992, college: Villanova, agency: Slash Sports) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
