Gavin Edwards joins Tochigi Brex

Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya (B1 League) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old American power forward Gavin Edwards (206cm-104kg-1988, college: UConn) for new 2023-24 season. Edwards has played for the last six years at Chiba Jets. In 56 B1 League games in Japan he had 8.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.9apg and 1.3spg last season. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
Edwards has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2012.
He is quite experienced player. Edwards' career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in six different countries. Edwards tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Greece (Peristeri), Korea, Malaysia, Ukraine and NBA G League (Springfield A.).
Edwards graduated from University of Connecticut in 2010 and it will be his 14th (!!!) season as a professional player.
