Perry Ellis

Cholet Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Perry Ellis (203cm-102kg-1993, college: Kansas) for season 2022-23. Ellis played last season at Saga Ballooners in Japanese B2 League. In 19 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 5.8rpg and 2.1apg. He also played for Osaka Evessa (B1 League) in Japan where in 14 games he averaged 10.9ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.8apg.
Ellis has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He represented USA at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) seven years ago. Ellis' team won Gold and his stats at that event were 8 games: 13.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.1apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.5%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 64.3%.
Ellis is quite experienced player. Thanks to Ellis' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America) in eight different countries. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Kings), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Italy (Cantu), Turkey (Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi), NBA (Milwaukee Bucks), NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm) and The Basketball Tournament (Self Made). His team won Big 12 Tournament in 2013 and 2016. Ellis was voted Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year back in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
He graduated from University of Kansas in 2016 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player.
