Perry Ellis

Saga Ballooners (B2 League) inked 28-year old American 203cm forward Perry Ellis (college: Kansas). In his first game he scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds helping his new team beat Bambitious N. 89-66. Ellis started the season at Osaka Evessa (B1 League). In 14 games he averaged 10.9ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.8apg. B2 League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. The last season he played at Ehime where in 47 B2 League games he had very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.3apg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Ellis represented USA at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) -1993 years ago. Ellis' team won Gold and his stats at that event were 8 games: 13.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.1apg, 1.0spg, FGP: 36.5%, 3PT: 35.3%, FT: 64.3%.
He is a very experienced player. Ellis has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Australia (Kings), Germany (s Oliver Baskets), Italy (Cantu), Turkey (Istanbul Buyuksehir Belediyesi), NBA (Milwaukee Bucks), NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm) and The Basketball Tournament (Self Made).
Among many awards his college team won Big 12 Tournament in 2013 and 2016. Ellis was voted to Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He attended University of Kansas until 2016 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
