Japanese B1 League round 12 best performance: Allen Durham- November 12, 2021
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 27 points and 18 rebounds, while his team edged out Sea Horses M. (#3, 8-4) 74-72. It allowed Ryukyu GK to consolidate first place in the Japanese B1 League. Ryukyu GK have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Durham had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ryukyu GK's top player in his first season with the team. Allen Durham averages this season 13.3ppg and 7.8rpg. Worth to mention Durham played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Josh Scott (208-C/F-93, agency: Pensack Sports) of Tochigi Brex. Scott had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds. Of course he led Tochigi Brex to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Osaka E. (#8, 4-8) 92-72. Tochigi Brex's 5th position in West has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Scott is well-known at Tochigi Brex and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Reid Travis (203-F-95, agency: Pensack Sports) of league's second-best Shimane SM. Travis got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for eighteen rebounds . He was a key player of Shimane SM, leading his team to a 102-94 win against the lower-ranked Shiga L-Stars (#7, 6-6). Shimane SM needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in West. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 3 lost games. Travis has a great season in Japan. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.8ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.5rpg (4th best). He also has FGP: 64.6% and 3PT: 40.4%. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
