In 2011 Harper was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in second round (32nd overall). The former University of Richmond standout is in his tenth season in pro basketball. Harper is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Harper has played previously professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket and SIG Strasbourg), Israel, Italy, Philippines (North Port), Puerto Rico (Indios), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers) and NBA G League (South Bay Lakers). Among many awards Harper won D-League Pacific Division championship title in 2017. He was selected to D-League All-Star Game between 2016 and 2017. His game is described as: Has excellent size for the power forward position. Above average athlete, as well, with decent quickness in the open floor and good explosiveness around the basket. Most effective spotting up around the perimeter, where he finds over a quarter of his possessions. Lightning quick release and a consistent, fluid shooting motion. Solid basketball IQ.
