Qatar - Kazakhstan 68-73

Kazakhstan edged Qatar 73-68 at the Al-Gharafa Sports Club Multi-Purpose Hall at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. The guests grabbed a 19-12 run, whilst Qatar took a 4-point halftime advantage after a 25-14 rally in the second period. Kazakhstan needed two narrow wins in the second half to tie it first and then grabbed the win. Rustam Murzagaliyev nailed three for 69-64, whilst Roman Marchuk made two free throws for 71-66 lead. Anton Bykov (200-F-1989) brought the final points from the free throw line for his team.
Anton Bykov top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Vadim Chsherbak (194-G-1993) poured in 18. Abdulrahman Saad (185-G/F-1996) replied with 20 points in the losing effort.
