Thailand stepped onto pedestal in Division B f the FIBA Asia Cup 2023. They overcame Jordan 66:52 in the game for the third place. Both teams exchanged the leads in the first half as Jordan had a 5-point advantage at the halftime. Thailand reduced the gap at the end of the third quarter winning the period 14-12 and then erupted with a massive 27-10 surge in the last stanza.
Rattiyakorn Udomsuk (174-G/F-1999) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Thunchanok Lumdappang (176-C-1999) collected 15 points and 13 rebounds. Liliana Jbara and Zara Najjar (183-F-1994) replied with 14 points in the losing effort.
