Kazakhstan - Malaysia 44:62

Malaysia finished 5th in Division B of the Asia Cup 2023 with the win over Kazakhstan 62-44. They opened the game with a 17-10 run and added massive 20-5 surge in the second period. Kazakhstan bounced back with a 21-17 run in the third quarter, whilst both teams nailed 8 points each in the last stanza.
Fook Yee Yap (174-F-1993) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Sin Jie Tan (168-PG-2002) delivered 15. Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina (182-F-1990) ended up with 18 points in a loss and Daria Koroleva (182-F-1988) had 9.
