Malaysia - Indonesia 55:60

Indonesia successfully opened Day 2 in Division B of the Asia Cup 2023. They overcame Malaysia 60-55 for the second win. Indonesia grabbed an early 19-18 lead and also had 1-point advantage at the halftime. Malaysia replied with a 13-11 run in the third quarter when Suet Ying Foo scored for 48-45. Indonesia however won the last stanza 13-7 to seal the second straight win.
Kim Pierre-Louis (183-F/C-1993, college: UMass, agency: Areus Sports) stepped up with 22 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Clarita Antonio (178-C-1999) netted 11. Fook Yee Yap (174-F-1993) posted 16 in a loss, whilst Phey Magdelene notched 11.
