New Zealand outscored Philippines on the way to the semis of the FIBA women's Asia Cup. New Zealand posted an 83-78 win and will play Japan in the Semifinals. New Zealand started with a 21-15 run and led 4 points at the halftime. Philippines looked better in the third quarter as Afril Bernardino (165-G-1991) gave her side 69-66 advantage.
