Mongolia improved at a 2-1 record in Group F of the 2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers. They overcame Hong Kong 76:69 in Ulaanbaatar. The hosts grabbed a 27-15 lead at the start and had an 8-point halftime advantage. Moreover, they increased to 10 points at the end of the third quarter and did not mind a narrow 15-18 loss at the end.
Bilguun Battuvshin (197-SF-1989) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Sanchir Tungalag (193-G-1989) had 13. Choi-Kwan Tsai (183-SF-1995) replied with 19 points in defeat and Shiu-Wah Leung (189-SF-1994) netted 17.
