Guam outscored Malaysia 75-64 in Ulaanbaatar at the 2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers. Trailing 1 points at the halftime, Guam produced a 25-13 surge in the decisive third period. Both teams nailed 17 points each in the last stanza for the final success.
Earnest Ross (198-G-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) stepped up with 22 points and 9 rebounds, while Jonathan Galloway (209-C-1996, college: UC Irvine) nailed 14. Tomas Calvo (178-PG-2000, college: Cal Lutheran) scored 11 and Ben Borja (203-F/C-1998, college: CSU Maritime) as well as Jericho Cruz had 8 each. Chun Hong Ting answered with 24 points in the losing effort.
