2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers: Kuwait post the initial win in Group E

Kuwait posted the initial win in Group E of the 2025 Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers. They overcame Oman 65:50 in Doha to improve to a 1-3 record. Kuwait started with a 20-13 lead and had a 13-point advantage at the halftime. Kuwait also won the third period 22-9, whilst Oman replied with a 17-6 rally in the last stanza.
Ali Alhadhoud (203-PF-1995) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Abdulaziz Alhamidi (190-SG-1987) had 13. Adil Khamis answered with 13 points in a loss, whilst Rasheed Al-Zahaibi (205-C-2003) brought 12.
