Jordan vs New Zealand 75:83

New Zealand beat Jordan to clinch the Bronze medals at the FIBA Asia Cup. They posted an 83-75 win to claim their spot on the FIBA Asia Cup podium for the first time ever.
Jordan opened the game with a 22-20 run and led 10 points at the halftime. New Zealand however took control in the second half and won both quarters. At first they reduced the gap with a 27-24 rally in the third quarter and then erupted with a massive 24-9 surge in the last stanza.
Tohi Smith-Milner (206-F-1995, college: Polk State CC, agency: BIG) stepped up with 25 points and Takiula Fahrensohn (201-G-1999, college: Portland, agency: Haylett Sports) netted 19. Samuel Timmins (211-F/C-1997, college: Washington) followed them with 12 points in a win. Hashem Abbaas (198-F/C-1999, college: Bridgeport) and Amin Abuhawwas (190-G-1994, college: Mars Hill) answered with 19 points each in the losing effort.
