South Korea - New Zealand 78-88
New Zealand completed the Semifinal picture at the FIBA Asia Cup. They overcame South Korea 88-78 in the last Quarterfinal game. Both teams showed their best in the first half exchanging the victories and it was Korea to take a 46-40 halftime advantage as Woosuk Lee sent the teams to the lockers. New Zealand tied it all at 60-60 at the end of the third quarter when Tohi Smith-Milner (206-F-1995, college: Polk State CC, agency: BIG) nailed a three-pointer. After another 28-18 run, New Zealand celebrated the victory in the game.
Flynn Cameron (196-PG-2000) top-scored fir the winners with 22 points and Takiula Fahrensohn (201-G-1999, college: Portland, agency: Haylett Sports) delivered 16. Tohi Smith-Milner followed them with 14 points, whilst Taine Murray (196-SG-2002) had 9. Guna Ra (203-F-1989, college: Missouri) answered with 19 points in a loss and Jongkyu Kim (207-C-1991) notched 13.
