FIBA Asia Cup: Jordan shock Iran, advance to the Semifinals

Jordan shocked Iran 91-76 and advanced to the Semifinals of the FIBA Asia Cup. Jordan grabbed a 24-18 lead at the start and had a 6-point advantage at the halftime. Iran replied with a 29-20 rally in the third quarter as Arsalan Kazemi scored two for 67-62. Jordan meanwhile exploded with a 27-9 surge in the last quarter to seal the ticket to the semis.
Dar Tucker (193-SG-1988, college: DePaul) top-scored for the winners with 29 points and Freddy Ibrahim (190-G-1996, college: Tampa) notched 23. Ahmad Al-Dwairi (209-C-1993) followed them with 15 and Zaid Abbas (203-F-1983) scored 9. Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-1991, agency: BIG) replied with 23 points in a loss and Hamed Haddadi (218-C-1985, agency: BIG) delivered 19.
