2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers: Bahrain outlast Iraq in overtime

Mohamed Ebrahim (185-G-87) poured in 30 points to lead Bahrain to an overtime win over Iraq in 2021 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. Bahrain climbed at 2-1 record in Group D.
Bahrain dominated in the first half. They recorded a 45-31 halftime lead. Iraq cut the deficit in the third term. They pulled within 5 points. Iraq sank 23 points in the fourth period to force an overtime. But Bahrain drained 17 points in the extra period to snatch a narrow win. Mohammed Mohamed Kawaid (G-89) tossed in 16 points, collected 8 rebounds and issued 5 assists for Bahrain. Demario Mayfield (196-G-91, college: Angelo St.) nailed 26 points and dished out 7 assists for Iraq.
