Arab Basketball Championship: Libya finish group stage undefeated

Libya claimed the top spot in Group A of the Arab Basketball Championship. They outgunned Somalia to improve at 3-0 record. Omar Fowaz came up with 22 points for the winners.
Libya grabbed a 37-33 halftime lead. Somalia managed to pull within 3 points at the final break. But Libya sank 26 points in the fourth quarter to race to yet another win. Mohamed Buzgaiya (195-SG-1999) and Gayth Mohammed (206-F/C-1999) scored 17 points each for Libya. Foad Jamaal responded with 20 points for Somalia as they fell at 1-2 record.
