Libya conquer Group B undefeated after an 85-65 win over Algeria. Libya started with a 15-13 run and led 2 points at the halftime. They added a narrow 18-15 rally in the third quarter and erupted with a final 32-17 surge in the last stanza.
Omar Fowaz top-scored for the winners with 26 points and Mohamed Basher as well as Sofyan Fathy nailed 10 each. Belkhouja Faisal replied with 17 points in the losing effort, whilst Wahab Khalid produced 10.
