Egypt conquered Group B of the Arab Basketball Championship with the win over Tunisia, 85-63. Egypt remained undefeated with a 3-0 record, whilst Tunisia suffered their first loss and dropped at 2-1 record.
Amr Gendy (192-G-1991) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Ehab Amin (193-G-1995, college: Oregon) netted 14. Omar Tarek and Haitham Kamal delivered 13 points each in a win. Achref Ganouni answered with 15 points in the losing effort.
