Somalia edge Libya 92-88 at the Arab Basketball Cup 2022. They took a 26-18 lead at the start, while Libya reduced to 2 points at the halftime. Somalia nailed a 20-17 run in the third quarter and did not mind a narrow 30-31 loss in the last stanza.
Moktar Aden (178-G, college: St.Cloud Tech) stepped up with 24 points and Ahmed Aden netted 22. Warsame Mohamed (203-F-96) produced 18, whilst Adnan Guled (188-PG-97) netted 17. Ghayth Almaghribi answered with 20 points in a loss and Asmaeil Aljahmi poured in 17.
