Tunisia conquered Group A of the Arab Basketball Cup 2022. They improved to a 3-0 record beating UAE. Tunisia started well and took an 11-point half-time advantage. They limited the opponents to just 6 points in the third quarter and won the last stanza 30-12.
Mohamed Hadidane (207-PF-86) top-scored for the winners with 15 points, whilst Oussama Marnaoui (193-G-99) netted 12. Qais Alshabebi (200-C-91) answered with 15 in defeat and Mohamed Abdullateef notched 11.
