Taiwan B - Japan 59-109
Japan stunned Taiwan B to remain undefeated in Taipei. Six players scored in double digits to lead the winners. Japan accumulated a 48:23 halftime lead. They drained 61 points after the big break to coast to the win. Mio Shinozaki (167-PG-91) had 18 points, while Kadysha Umezawa (183-F/C-98) added 15 points and 12 rebounds for Japan. Liu Xi-Ye (172-F-91) replied with 15 points for Taiwan B.

Taiwan - New Zealand 62-69
The Tall Ferns overcame Taiwan to improve at 3-0 record. Stella Beck (183-G-95, college: St.Mary's, CA) produced 28 points to lead the charge. New Zealand piled up a 35:30 halftime lead. The Tall Ferns used a 20:15 run in the third term to push the lead to 10 points. They protected it throughout the fourth quarter and rallied to the win. Ashleigh Karaitiana (183-G-92, college: Hawaii) had 13 points for the winners. Yu-Ting Lin (183-F-94) responded with 16 points for Taiwan.

South Korea - India 108-41
South Korea outscored India for the second win. Eun-Sil Choi (183-F-94) nailed 22 points to lead the winners. South Korea went on a 29:6 run in the second period to take a comfortable 58:19 halftime lead. They unleashed 60 points in the second half to coast to the win. Lim Yong-Hui (178-F-80) had 15 points in the victory. Rajapriyadharshini Rajaganapathi (178-F-94) replied with 14 points for India.
