Japan - India 94-38
Japan cruised past India for the second straight win in Taipei. Kadysha Umezawa (183-F/C-98), Aya Watanabe (170-G/F-92) and Stephanie Mawuli (181-C-98) had 11 points each for the winners. Japan accumulated a 48:24 halftime lead. They limited India to just 14 points in the second half to march to the win. Bhandavya Hemmige (163-F-98) replied with 9 points for India.

New Zealand - South Korea 93-74
New Zealand outscored South Korea to improve at 2-0 record in the ladder. Ashleigh Karaitiana (183-G-92, college: Hawaii) stepped up with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the Tall Ferns. New Zealand grabbed a 28:19 lead after ten minutes. They went on a 23:15 run in the fourth quarter to ensure the winning outcome. Penina Davidson (190-F-95, college: California) had 21 points and 11 rebounds for New Zealand. Park Hye-Jin (178-G-90) answered with 16 points and 11 assists for South Korea.

Taiwan - Taiwan B 72-52
Taiwan knocked down Taiwan B to gain the first win at the tournament. Cheng I-Hsiu (178-G-93) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Taiwan accumulated a 45:27 halftime lead. They dropped 27 points in the second half to ease to the victory. Huang Ling-Chuan (174-F-94) and Wang Wei-Lin (180-F-93) had 8 points each for Taiwan. Liu Xi-Ye (172-F-91) answered with 14 points for Taiwan B.
