South Korea cruised past Japan for the fifth win in Taipei. Lee Junghyun (190-SF-99) stepped up with 22 points for the Korean side. South Korea accumulated a 45:32 halftime lead. They unloaded 56 points in the second half to coast to the victory. Sang-Jae Kang (202-F-94) and Jun-Beom Yang (195-F-91) tossed in 15 points each for the winners. Keita Imamura (191-G/F-96) answered with 12 points for Japan.
Philippines - Lithuania 98-65
Philippines bruised Lithuania for 4-2 record at the tournament. Philippines dominated in the first half. They registered a 43:28 halftime advantage. Philippines did not slow down in the second half marching to a well-deserved win at the end. William Navarro (192-F-97) had 20 points, while Kakou Kouame (213-C-97) accounted for 19 points for the winners. Zygimantas Jocys (190-SG-95) had 20 points for Lithuania.
Taiwan - Indonesia 78-68
Taiwan posted the fourth victory at the tournament as they rolled past Indonesia today. Long-Mao Hu (197-F/G-92, college: Chaminade) delivered 13 points for Taiwan. They grabbed a 47:36 halftime advantage. Indonesia pulled within 9 points at the final break. But the hosts maintained the lead throughout the fourth quarter and rallied to the win. Douglas Creighton (196-F-85, college: Madonna) had 12 points for the winning side. Arki Wisnu (187-SF-88) topscored with 14 points for Indonesia.
Iran - Taiwan B 102-56
Iran fired past Taiwan B to improve at 5-1 record in the ladder. Mohammad Torabi (211-C-92) posted 18 points to lead the winners. Iran accumulated a 53:27 halftime lead. They went on a 26:16 run in the third term to get away for good. Mohammad Yousofvand (207-C-96) had 15 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Chen Yu-Jui (185-G-95) replied with 13 points for Taiwan B.
