Connor Wood (201-G-93) top-scored with 24 and Michale Kyser (208-F-91, college: Louisiana Tech) added 23. Chen Ying-Chun (183-PG-93) produced 30 points in the losing effort.
Lithuania ended up second with the same 8-1 record. In their last game they overcame Iraq 99-83. Edvinas Seskus (196-G/F-95, agency: Players Group) recorded 50 points, while Zygimantas Jocys (190-SG-95) poured in 14. Hassan Abdullah (190-G-94) replied with 25 points in the losing effort.
South Korea is third after a loss from Republic of China Blue 85-87, while
Gilas Pilipinas ends Jones Cup at 4th place after win over Iran 90-82. Import Mike Myers (206-F-92, college: Md-E Shore) top-scored with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Matthew Wright (193-G-91, college: St.Bonaventure) added 20 points, while Christian Standhardinger (206-F-89, college: Hawaii) had 13 markers and 4 boards. Sajjad Pazrofteh and Masoud Soleymani combined for 42 points to lead Iran.
In another game Japan beat India 77-61.
