Lithuania and Canada remained dominant at the William Jones Cup in Taiwan. Lithuania overcame Philippines 91-80 as Eigirdas Zukaukas showed the way for Lithuania with 22 points and seven assists on top of four rebounds and three steals. Kiefer Isaac Ravena (181-G/F-93) and Mike Myers (206-F-92, college: Md-E Shore) paced the Philippines with 14 points apiece. Matthew Wright and Roger Ray Pogoy (189-SG-92) chipped in 13 markers each while Christian Standhardinger (206-F-89, college: Hawaii) and Carl Bryan Cruz combined for 19 points and four boards.
Canada demolished India 121-72 as Diego Kapelan (190-G-87, college: McNeese St.) netted 21 points and Shaquille Keith (196-F-93) poured in 18. Prasanna Venkatesh SIVAKUMAR replied with 15 points in the losing effort.
South Korea have kept alive their hopes of winning the William Jones Cup in Taiwan as they rout Japan 101-81. Jongkyu Kim stepped up with 21 points, while Yang Hongseok (199-F-97) and Sunhyung Kim had 15 each. Ando Shuto (189-G-94) answered with 12 points in a loss.
Iraq posted a 90-75 win over Iraq, while Republic of China Blue beat Republic of China White 87-83.
