Republic of China White lost to Japan 86-91, while Canada demolished Iran 105-71. South Korea grabbed an 83-72 win over Philippines. Lee Junghyun (190-SF-99) and Sekeun Oh stepped up with 14 points each, while Ung Heo and Junyong Choi had 11 apiece. Myers Michael and Jiovani Jalalon (175-PG) scored 18 in a loss.
Iraq outscored Republic of China Blue 80-76. Demario Mayfield (196-G/F-91, college: Angelo St.) top-scored for the winners with 28 points and Navid Khajehzadeh netted 13. Long-Mao Hu and Yu Huan-Ya (183-G-93) produced 16 points each in defeat.
