South Korea and Canada keep the perfect records in the 39th William Jones Cup basketball tournament at the Taipei Peace International Basketball Hall, Taipei.
South Korea improved to a 3-0 record beating Iran 88-78 as Lee Junghyun (190-SF-99) and Sun-Hyung Kim (187-G-88) stepped up with 16 points each.

Canada meanwhile destroyed Iraq 99-48. Connor Wood (201-G-93) top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Diego Kapelan (190-G-87, college: McNeese St.) produced 24.
Gilas Pilipinas posted a 93-82 win over Chinese Taipei B. Matthew Wright (193-G-91, college: St.Bonaventure) poured in 21 points to pace all the winners, while Roger Ray Pogoy (189-SG-92) netted 15 and Myers Michael J. had 14. Jio Jalalon tallied 13 points and five assists, while Ravena contributed 10 points, seven assists, and two steals.
Lithuania beat Japan 94-67. Eigirdas Zukauskas (205-F-92) top-scored for the winners with 24 points, while Zygimantas Jocys (190-SG-95) delivered 14. Shuta Hara (187-G-93) ended up with 21 points in a loss and Gen Hiraiwa (198-C-97) had 11.
In another game Republic of China Blue overcame India 101-80. Zheng-Ru Lu scored 17 points, while Huan-Ya Yu added 13.
