Japan celebrate the 3rd consecutive win at the William Jones Cup tournament and remain the only undefeated team. In Day 3 they posted a 75-68 win over Republic of China White 75-68. Saki Hayashi (171-G-95) top-scored for the winners with 19 points, while Mamiko Tanaka (178-C-96), Tamami Nakada (180-C-97) and Shiori Yasuma had 12 each. Chen Wei-An (178-C-95) and Lin-Chuan Huang answered with 16 points each in a loss.
South Korea meanwhile edged India 56-51 and Republic of China 'Blue' overcame the Tall Ferns 79-60. Kalani Purcell (188-F-95, college: BYU) finished the match with a team high 18 points and 12 rebounds for her first double-double.
