Japan, New Zealand and Chinese Taipei post wins in Day 2 of the William Jones Cup tournament. Japan demolished India 93-42 as Saki Hayashi (171-G-95) stepped up with 17 points and Mirai Tamura (164-PG-94) netted 15. Shireen Vijay Limaye answered with 8 points in the losing effort.
New Zealand edged South Korea 58-40. Antonia Edmondson (181-G-87) top-scored for the winners with 16 points and Chevannah Paalvast (180-G/F-91, college: Monmouth) as well as Micaela Cocks (174-G-86, college: Oregon) added 9 each. Heejin Kim (168-SF-95) ended up with 9 points in a loss.
Republic of China White lost to Republic of China Blue 68-81. Lin Yu Ting poured in 20 points and Zheng Yi Xiu delivered 19.
