Paris Bass gets MVP of the Week award for West Asia Super League (by Hoops Agents)

American Paris Bass (207-F/C-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 30-year old power forward had the game-high 23 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Sagesse in his team's victory, helping them to beat Al Wahda (#6, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 75-69. Sagesse is placed at 4th position in West Asia Super League. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 3 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Bass had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Sagesse's top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Maurice Kemp (203-PF-1991) of Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Kemp impressed basketball fans with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Riyadi lost that game 72-86 to slightly higher-ranked Astana (2-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al Riyadi still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 2-1 record is not bad at all. Kemp is a newcomer at Al Riyadi and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Robert Pan (202-C-1995) of second-ranked BK Astana. Pan scored 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Astana, leading his team to a 86-72 easy win against #3 ranked Al Riyadi. Astana needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Pan has a very solid season. In 2 games in West Asia Super League he scored 15.5ppg.
