West's 30-point game gives him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

31-year old American forward Nick West (210-F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al-Muharraq and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 30 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Al-Muharraq as his team lost the game against the league's best team Kazma (#2, 1-0) 81-95. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Al-Muharraq maintains the 3rd position in West Asia Super League . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked such low. They already lost 1 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game West had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al-Muharraq's top player in his first season with the team. Alabama A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. West is in league's top in points (4th best: 30.0ppg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 62.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mohammed Hamoda (198-PF-1995). He is a forward in his first season at Al-Muharraq. In the last game Hamoda recorded an impressive 17 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Al-Muharraq lost that game 81-95 to Kazma (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Hamoda is a newcomer at Al-Muharraq and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mustafa Ali (177-PG-2002, agency: Allstars Agency) of league's leader Al Arabi Club Doha. Ali scored 29 points. He was a key player of Al Arabi, leading his team to a 83-78 win against #3 ranked Kuwait in a game of the week. Al Arabi has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Ali also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Ali as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
