Lalanne number one in West Asia Super League for round 11

Haitian Center Cady Lalanne (208-C-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Al Kuwait SC, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Al Ahli (#4, 2-4) 91-83. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Kuwait to consolidate first place in the West Asia Super League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Kuwait has a very solid 4-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Lalanne had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Kuwait and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former University of Massachusetts star has very solid stats this year. Lalanne is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.7rpg) and averages impressive 1.7bpg and 55.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Lebanese Omar Jamaleddine (193-G-2000) of league's second-best Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut. Jamaleddine had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Sagesse to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Al Ittihad (#3, 2-4) 101-58. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Sagesse consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 4-2 record is not bad at all. Jamaleddine is a newcomer at Sagesse, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Tyler Wilkerson (203-F-1988) of league's second-best Al-Muharraq. Wilkerson scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). Despite Wilkerson's great performance the Al-Muharraq lost 78-79 to #3 ranked Al Rayyan. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Al-Muharraq needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Wilkerson has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.2ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (#1 in league).
