Hasan number one in West Asia Super League for round 5

Center Mohammad Hasan (194-C-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Al Kuwait SC, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 23-year old player was the main contributor (36 points, six rebounds and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Al Ahli (#4, 0-3) with 18-point margin 110-92. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Kuwait to consolidate first place in the West Asia Super League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Kuwait already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Hasan had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He turned to be Kuwait's top player in his first season with the team. Mohammad Hasan averages just after three games 23.7ppg and 6.3rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Devin Ebanks (206-F-1989) of Al Ahli Jeddah. Ebanks had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Ahli lost that game 92-110 to league's leader Kuwait (#1, 3-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al Ahli still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 3 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Ebanks is a newcomer at Al Ahli, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.3ppg (#7). He also registered 9.7 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Lebanese forward Norvel Pelle (208-F-1993, agency: BIG) of league's top team Shahrdari Gorgan. Pelle scored 16 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Gorgan, leading his team to a 100-59 easy win against #4 ranked Al Naft. Gorgan started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Pelle turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Pelle has a very solid season. In 3 games in West Asia Super League he scored 10.0ppg.
