BK Almaty adds Sviridov to their roster

BK Almaty Alma-Ata (D1) added to their roster 29-year old Uzbekistani center Dmitry Sviridov (212-105kg-85). He played previous season at BK Kapshagay in Kazakhstan D1 league. In 19 games he recorded 11.9ppg and 7.3rpg (#2 in the league). He helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Honorable Mention. Sviridov also spent pre-season at Besa (SuperLeague) in Kosovo that year. In two games he averaged 10.5ppg, 5.5rpg and 1.0apg previous season.
The previous (12-13) season he played at Barsy Atyrau. In 11 Baltic League games he averaged 6.5ppg and 3.8rpg.
In 2011-12 season Sviridov played at Hopsi Polzela (Telemach League) in Slovenia. In 28 games he averaged 11.5ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.0bpg. Great season indeed as he was voted to Slovenian League All-Star Game. He played in the final of Kazakhstan League in 2013.
Sviridov has played also professionally in Belarus (Vitalyur-RGUOR and BK Grodno-93).
