China improve to 2-1 record in Group A after the victory over Uzbekistan at the 2012 Fiba Asia Cup. The Chinese team won 107:47 and sent the opponents to 1-2 record.
China started the game with 21-11 and never looked behind after. They added massive 31-8 burst to take a 52:19 halftime advantage. Moreover China continued to dominate the second half as well. China won the third period 30-19 and finished the game with 25-9 in the last stanza.
Zhao TaiLong (193-G/F-90) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Duan JiangPeng (197-F-90) notched 17. Wang Zhelin (215-PF-94) delivered 16, while Wang Zirui (190-G-93) had 14. Aleksandr Kozlov (201-F-82) ended up with 11 points in defeat and Samender Juginisov (202-F-87) finished the game with 10.
