World Military Championship: Lithuania stay perfect with win over Uzbekistan

Lithuania posted the third consecutive victory at the World Military Championship. They eased past Uzbekistan for 3-0 record on top of Group B. Henrikas Rumsa (190-G-82) nailed 20 points to lead the charge. Uzbekistan fell at 1-2 record after the defeat.
Lithuania stunned their opponents early on. The Baltic team outgunned Uzbekistan 21:7 in the starting frame. Lithuania mounted the pressure in the second quarter. They cleared off at 27-point distance at halftime 45:18. The Baltic team quickly boosted the margin to 30 points in the third period and never looked back on the way to the victory. Tomas Lukosevicius (200-C-80) provide 16 points, while Eimantas Narusis (201-F-86) added 12 points and 11 rebounds for Lithuania. Aleksandr Kozlov (202-F-82) answered with 15 points for Uzbekistan. Gennadiy Zinovyev (195-F-84) had 9 points and 8 rebounds in the losing effort.
