WSBL Round 23 (Regular Season): Taipower lose to Cathay Life in the game between Top 4 teams

The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Very significant was Tigers' (#1, 21-2) victory against 4th placed Power (5-18) 72-60. Cathay Life forced 20 Taipower turnovers. It was a great evening for center Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-2005) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. Zhir-Ong Ding (178) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers (21-2) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Taipower lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Cathay Life are looking forward to face Taiyuan T. American forward Ajae Petty (190-2002, college: Ohio St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds for Taiyuan T. in the defeat. Taiyuan Textile's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Chunghua T. maintains second place with 11-12 record having ten points less than leader Cathay Life. Taiyuan T. at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Chunghua T. will play against bottom-ranked Taipower (#4) in the next round.
