Very significant wasTigers ' (#1, 21-2) victory against 4th placed Power (5-18) 72-60 . Cathay Life forced 20 Taipower turnovers. It was a great evening for center Yu-Wen Hsiao (184-2005) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Shelby Cheslek (196-1992, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. Zhir-Ong Ding (178) responded with 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ying-Jie Li (163-2001) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers (21-2) have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Taipower lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost.
