Very significant wasChunghwa Telecom 's (#2, 11-12) victory against 3rd placed Taiyuan Textile (9-14) 78-60 . Chunghua T. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Hsiang-Ting Huang (180-1993) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. American forward Oshlynn Brown (185, college: Rutgers) accounted for 15 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. American forward Ajae Petty (190-2002, college: Ohio St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and center Wei-Qing Liao (180) added 11 points respectively for Taiyuan T. in the defeat. Taiyuan Textile's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Chunghua T. maintains second place with 11-12 record having ten points less than leader Cathay Life. Taiyuan T. at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost.
