The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Yulon Luxgen (13-8) against third ranked Taiwan Beer on Sunday night. Taiwan Beer were edged by third ranked Taiwan Beer (11-10) 75-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Taiwan Beer made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for American forward Christian Anigwe (206, college: UC Davis) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 8 rebounds. Gambian forward Joof Alasan (205-2002) helped adding 15 points and 12 rebounds. International center Shao-Fu Lan (195-1997) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 22 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and forward Hsiang-Wei Pan (190-1994) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Bank of Taiwan's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Yulon Luxgen.
