Al Wahda Damascus (SBL) signed 47-year-old Egyptian coach Wael Badr for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He has coached for the last two years at Zamalek in the Egyptian league.´

He coached Egypt at the FIBA Olympic Games Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus (Greece) last year.

Badr has coached in Qatar, Taiwan, Turkey, and Egypt (Sporting and Al Gezira) as well.

Tony Criswell (ex Al Bataeh) is a newcomer at Al Nawair

Al Ittihad tabs Zach Lofton, ex Al Ahly C.
