Al Wathba lands Omar Cheikh-Ali

Al Wathba Homs (SBL) tabbed experienced 34-year old international 204cm forward Omar Cheikh-Ali for new season. Cheikh-Ali played most recently at Syrian National Team in Syrian league.
He also represented Syria at the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon eight years ago.
Cheikh-Ali has spent his entire career in Syria playing for two other teams: Al Jaish and Al Karameh. He won Syrian League championship title in 2016, 2019 and 2021.
