Syrian National Team adds Blake to their roster, ex Champville

The Syrian National Team has added 26-year-old American guard Javion Blake to their roster. Blake, who stands at 191cm and weighs 84kg, played college basketball at Washburn and is represented by Haylett Sports agency. He began the season with Champville in the Lebanese LBL league, where he put up impressive numbers in 10 games, averaging 26.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. He was also named League Player of the Week twice. In the previous season, Blake played for Atenas in the Argentinian league, known as La Liga.
He's a highly experienced player, having played in eight different countries across four continents. He's had the opportunity to taste the life of a professional basketball player in Europe, Latin America, Australia, and North America. His previous professional stints include playing in Argentina, Australia, Denmark (Herlev), Mexico (Astros), New Zealand (Jets), Romania (Sibiu), and Czech Republic (Brno).
In 2022, he won the Mexican CIBACOPA championship title. In 2023, he was voted to the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention.
Among the many awards he won, he secured the Mexican CIBACOPA championship title in 2022. Additionally, he was voted to the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention in 2023.
He graduated from Washburn University in 2019 and this is his fifth season as a pro player.
