D'Von Campbell (ex Dream Ballers) signs at Al Nawaeer

D'Von Campbell

Al Nawaeer Hama (SBL) has signed D'Von Campbell, a 31-year-old American guard who also holds a Belizean passport. Standing at 185cm, Campbell played college basketball at Campbellsville. He spent the last three years playing for Dream Ballers in the Belizean BEBL.

In his most recent 13 games, Campbell averaged an impressive 17.1 points per game, 2.7 rpg, and 4.0 apg, ranking in the top 4 in the league last season. He played a crucial role in helping his team reach the semifinals, making it a successful season in his career. Campbell's outstanding performance earned him a spot in the Latinbasket.com All-Belizean BEBL Honorable Mention.

He's a highly experienced player, having played in five different countries on four different continents thanks to his career in professional basketball. He's well-versed in European, Asian, Latin American, and North American leagues. He has previously played for HyPo in Finland, Al Karkh in Iraq, Mola in Italy, and Vic and Martorell in Spain.
His college team won the MSC Tournament in 2015.

He graduated from Campbellsville University in 2015, and this upcoming season will mark his ninth in professional basketball. Prior to his time at Campbellsville, he also played for other colleges such as Rutgers University, Hutchinson Community College, and The University of Texas at El Paso.
