Al Ittihad adds Michelsson to their roster

Al Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo (SBL) added to their roster 26-year old Syrian-Swedish international guard Andree Michelsson (188cm-85kg-1997) for new 2023-24 season. Michelsson is the second import player in the roster as Iranian Mohammad Jamshidi signed here earlier.
He played last season at Chieti Magic in Italian Serie C. In 11 games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 4.5rpg and 6.1apg. He also played for Warriors (Super League) in Irish league where in 10 games he averaged remarkable 17.8ppg, 3.4rpg and 4.4apg. He was called to Syrian Senior National Team this year.
Michelsson has played also professionally in Germany (Rendsburg), Iceland (Hottur, Snaefell and Sindri) and Sweden (Malbas).
His team made it to the Icelandic D1 Playoff Semifinals in 2019.
