Christopher Obekpa

Al-Karameh-Homs (SBL) added to their roster 29-year old Nigerian international power forward Christopher Obekpa (206cm-107kg-1993, college: UNLV). Obekpa supposed to play at Ahly Benghazi in Libyan D1 league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Obekpa has been a member of Nigerian international program for some years. He has been regularly called to Nigerian senior team since 2018 and previously for U16 National Team back in 2008.
Obekpa is quite experienced player. Thanks to Obekpa's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Italy (Avellino), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), Turkey (Trabzonspor), NBA G League (Santa Cruz Warriors) and Guinea (SLAC Conakry).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won Lebanese Cup in 2019. Obekpa was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2018.
He graduated from University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2016 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
